The Probus Club of The Sussex Weald (PCSW) was established in Crawley in 1989 and has been bringing men together for over 35 years in a friendly environment to meet, eat, talk and as part of organised activities.

The Club is aimed at men aged from about 55, maybe retired or approaching retirement, from around the Crawley area. We believe life after retirement isn’t about slowing down, it’s about having more time for the things you enjoy, meeting like-minded people and getting out and doing more.

We meet on the first Tuesday of the month (meetings start at 10.30am) in the Vancouver Room at Sandman Signature Hotel in Three Bridges, Crawley. After a brief update on Club matters we typically then have an interesting and entertaining speaker, plenty of conversation and lunch.

Partners are also invited to at least three of our monthly lunches each year. And of course you can bring guests who may be interested in joining the Club. Our ladies also meet for morning coffee on the last Tuesday of each month.

We also have a regular diary of organised activities and events for members, partners and guests, such as visits, walks, golf, bowls, coach trips, eating-out, theatre outings and group holidays for those that want to participate. You choose what interests you.

Our Probus Club is one of many similar clubs all over the UK and around the World. Each club is independent and non-profitmaking, giving every group the freedom to create its own style and programme. PCSW is organised by an elected committee and its style and activities reflect the interests of the members – so you can also get involved in shaping the Club if you want.
